BOSTON — November 20, 2017 — Threat Stack, provider of the industry’s most comprehensive intrusion detection platform for cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premise environments, today announced that its CSO, Sam Bisbee, will be hosting a talk on prioritizing security risks at the upcoming AWS re:Invent 2017. The demo session, titled “Stop Wasting Your Time: Spending More Time on Security Risks That Actually Matter,” will help attendees understand how to calculate their organization’s cloud security risk and design a realistic defense strategy for workloads. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, 11/29, at 3:20pm in the Demo Theater at the Venetian.
Given the ever-increasing velocity of cloud security threats, along with the potential for user error that can leave cloud workloads highly vulnerable, it’s critical that security professionals understand how to prioritize defense tactics without becoming overwhelmed. Bisbee’s talk will be heavily informed by his work as Chief Security Officer at Threat Stack, which recently raised $45M in Series C funding for its intrusion detection platform, and was recognized by Dark Reading as an emerging DevSecOps security technology.
Threat Stack will be located at Booth #204, and is hosting a pub crawl at Buddy V’s, located within The Venetian hotel, on Wednesday, November 29th evening from 5:30 to 7:30pm which will include a number of prizes and giveaways.
Those interested in scheduling a meeting with Threat Stack at re:Invent, attending Sam Bisbee’s presentation, or securing a VIP pass to the pub crawl on Wednesday night, can do so here.
