Threat Stack is making its first appearance at Monitorama this year in Portland, OR. One of the largest open source conferences and hackathons for developers and web operations experts, Monitorama invites those who are advancing the state of open source monitoring in a big way.
This year, we’re excited to announce that our co-founder, Jen Andre, will be speaking. Kicking the day off strong on Tuesday, May 6th, Jen will be giving a talk on “Auditing All The Things: The Future of Smarter Monitoring and Detection.” Supporting developers and operations experts means more to us than just merely attending a conference like Monitorama, which is why we decided to immerse ourselves by sharing our deep knowledge of incident response and security monitoring techniques. Personally passionate about this herself, Jen is the perfect fit to to address the audience on these techniques.
Key takeaways attendees can look forward to:
- Current audit APIs that exist in the Linux kernel and their collection capabilities
- Open source tools that interface with audit data, and their advantages and limitations
- Tips and trick to leverage audit data as a powerful tool for intrusion detection and incident purposes
When: Tuesday, May 6th at 10am PDT
Will you be at Monitorama? We would love to meet you so keep an eye out for us! In the meantime, be sure to follow us on Twitter, @ThreatStack.
