The Best Part? Not only is PagerDuty now a customer of ours, but the Threat Stack Engineering and Ops team uses PagerDuty everyday for production alerting, health checks, analytics, and some other cool custom use cases (e.g. notifying the tech team that you’ve misplaced your laptop!) — we consider it to be one of the most important and valuable tools we have. Similar to many Threat Stack customers, PagerDuty is running and scaling on AWS and needs deep visibility into everything happening across its infrastructure — from insider threat identification, external attack detection, data security verification, and compliance monitoring: “As a rapidly growing organization committed to delivering reliability and uptime to customers, it’s critical that we leverage the scalability and flexibility of the cloud, while keeping our resources safe and secure,” said Arup Chakrabarti, Director of Infrastructure Engineering at PagerDuty. “Not only is Threat Stack easy to deploy, it’s also easy to integrate with both new and existing tools. We now have complete visibility into our processes and activities for continuous monitoring and security management across our environment.” The other important component of the Threat Stack / PagerDuty partnership is of course our integration for joint customers. The Threat Stack and PagerDuty integration enables users to receive contextual Threat Stack alerts on activity such as user logins, suspicious processes running, and configuration changes, leveraging PagerDuty for fast incident collaboration and resolution.
