On Monday I had the pleasure of watching the Boston Marathon and cheering on thousands of runners: some running for results, many running for a worthy cause, but all running with the common objective of ACHIEVEMENT!
If you’re paying attention to modern-day software conversations, it often feels like the “old way” has already been put to rest, replaced by shiny new smartphones, tablets, work apps, wearables, the Internet of Things, smart homes and more. Amidst this buzz, it’s actually true – everything does run on software — which means it’s never been more important to make sure that we are protecting our sensitive data and our way of life from theft, loss, misuse…or worse.
AWS Summit season is upon us, and Threat Stack is proudly sponsoring and exhibiting at the AWS Summit Chicago again this year.
We’ve got some outstanding news to share: Threat Stack has just achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Competency!
This further demonstrates our commitment to delivering best-in-class security — and more specifically, to giving AWS customers exactly what they need in security solutions. As we like to say, “Our solutions are built in AWS to serve AWS.” Read more “Threat Stack’s Cloud Security Platform® Achieves AWS Security Competency”
It’s December, which in Boston means we’re stocking up on L.L. Bean boots and hunkering down for a cold, snowy winter. 2015 has been an incredible year here at Threat Stack — this last quarter, in particular. We’ve been hard at work developing several important integrations to the Threat Stack platform as well as celebrating a few very big milestones. But most of all, we wanted to take a moment to thank you — our incredible community — for all of your support since our launch out of beta last year, and for providing feedback that has inspired several of this quarter’s featured announcements (see below).
To see what we’ve been up to this quarter and what Threat Stack has to offer you (just in case you’ve been considering a solution like ours for 2016), take a look at our year-end update:
One year ago, we took the stage at AWS re:Invent 2014, alongside Amazon.com’s CTO and Vice President, Dr. Werner Vogels, to launch Threat Stack out of beta to the AWS community. Back then we were just starting out and re:Invent was a hugely exciting time for the entire Threat Stack team. On Tuesday, October 6th, we’re even more excited to be returning to re:Invent as the continuous cloud monitoring solution for nearly 100 companies on AWS!
Hot on the heels of the AWS Summit in Chicago last week, we’re gearing up to head over to New York for the AWS Summit happening in the Jacob Javits Center. Our second year in a row traveling across the country to the top AWS Summits, we are more and more encouraged by your overwhelming feedback on everything we’re building here at Threat Stack, fueling us for each subsequent summit.
A lot has happened here at Threat Stack in just the short amount of time since we were last at the AWS Summit in San Francisco in April. Most notably, we introduced our new Chairman and CEO, Brian Ahern, coming to us from Industrial Defender where he was Founder and CEO. We also unveiled a PagerDuty integration now available to all customers, making managing and responding to incidents as quick and easy as possible.
Giving Customers Confidence at Scale
As Threat Stack’s new Chairman & CEO, I wanted to reach out and thank you.
Our company is growing across every imaginable statistic and I’m excited to be on board to help steer this ship towards our goal of protecting 100,000 cloud servers by year’s end.
Today we are pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Ahern as our new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer here at Threat Stack. Passionate about building companies around disruptive technologies, Brian comes to Threat Stack from Industrial Defender, a global leader in cybersecurity, compliance and change management solutions for industrial control systems, where he was Founder and CEO.
